Sustainable acoustic ceiling tiles in wood fibre

We are expanding our offering with acoustic ceiling tiles in wood fibre in collaboration with the Finnish company Aisti. This new product area combines design, acoustic comfort and sustainability – and is a natural extension of our range of textile materials and interior surface solutions.

A new step towards better sound environments

The acoustic environment plays a crucial role in how spaces are experienced and how they function. In offices, public buildings and educational environments, high demands are placed on acoustic performance, fire safety and material selection.

By adding acoustic ceiling solutions to our portfolio, we can offer more complete interior concepts where floors, walls and ceilings work together to create sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.

The partnership with Aisti

Aisti is a Finnish company developing acoustic ceiling tiles made from wood fibre using patented foam forming technology. The products are designed to be a more sustainable alternative to today’s conventional ceiling solutions, without compromising on sound absorption, fire safety or quality.

We have chosen Aisti as our partner because their solution is the only one on the market that is renewable and easily recyclable. The product aligns closely with our core values:

  • Material awareness
  • Innovation
  • Long-term sustainability
  • Quality

Sustainability at the core

The acoustic ceiling tiles are produced by combining natural wood fibres and water into a foam, completely free from harmful binders. The material is circular and can be recycled into new products. It also has a significantly lower carbon footprint compared to traditional acoustic solutions.

For us at Ogeborg, this is an important step in our sustainability journey. We continuously seek materials and solutions that contribute to healthier indoor environments and reduced environmental impact throughout the entire life cycle.

Availability

The full launch of the acoustic ceiling tiles is planned for April 2026. Presentations and introductions for architects and other stakeholders are already available. Production is expected to begin in August 2026.
